Questiontractor was jumped wrong with reverse polarity and burnt a couple of wires leading to electronic module located under flywheel. I repaired both wires, but when i connect positive cable to batery i get a arc. is this an indication of a bad module?

tentativly i would say you fried the ignition armature , possibly the stator and rectifier
but check for other wire damage asw well
but please give me model and spec numbers from engine id tag
and i will check the wiring diagram for this model
