QuestionI have a Kubota tractor, TG1860G, with a Kawasaki engine, FD (or WG) 590V-107523. After mowing, when I put the tractor in the garage and shut off the engine, within a minute or two fuel starts dripping out of an overflow tube on the left (from drivers perspective) side of the engine, just forward of the left steering tierod. After a few minutes I will have a wet spot on the floor approx. 6 inches in dia., at which time the dripping stops. I have searched the internet looking for a rebuild kit for the carb, with no luck. Do you think replacing the float valve (@ $19.95) will do the trick? Or...???
Answerhi wayne
yes i do but check for debris i tank anf fuel filter, clean tank, change fuel filter
clean carb and float needle and seat , check float for hole(s)
recheck for flooding then replace float valve and seat and re-set fuel level
here is web site for parts
http://www.partstree.com/parts/?lc=kawasaki_engines&mh=26,44
just enter or select type ie aso7 or bso6 etc from the list then go to carb 1 or 2
depending on your carb
cheers hope this helps
