Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): no spark 12.5 hp kawaski motor, electric clutch, john deer

this is in a 160 john deer.replaced coil new replaced spark ingnightor new .disconected white wire and hooked to a toogle switch.still no spark. ichecked ground on enjine good also spark ing'good ground. cleaned magnetic pickup real good.i am baffled why no spark? ordered all parts oem john deer. what ealse can i try?

The stator under the flywheel is running your electric clutch.  There is a safety system on your mower.  The unit has to be in neutral with the clutch turned off to start the start the engine.  The problem may be in the PTOs switch or the safety module located under the panel on the handle where the throttle control is.  I hope this helps good luck on your project.
