QuestionI have a Honda power washer that I loaned to someone who did not check the oil in it. When I started it, I forgot to, but old forgot I had loaned it out.
It started and ran about thirty minutes and then quit. It will not release the pull chord to crank it again. I did put oil in it after it locked up. Can this be fixed or do I need to buy a new power washer.
Thank you for your help.

AnswerHI MEL
YES SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE SIEZED THIS ENGINE FROM INSUFFICIENT OIL
SIEZURE CAN BE AS QUICK YOU MENTIOND RAN 1/2 HOUR UNIT STOPPED, NOTICED OIL LEVEL
TOPPED UP BUT WAS INVARIABLY TOOO LATE DAMAGE ALREADY DONE
PISTON WILL BE DAMAGED AND THE BORE AS TO THE CON ROD AND BIG END AND MOST LIKLY THE BORE
BETTER PLAN ON REPOWER ENGINE OR OR NEW POWER WASHER
PS IF REPOWER - PULL PUMP HEAD UNIT OFF ENGINE AND FIT TO NEW ENGINE
SORRY FOR BAD NEWS
