Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): ht3813 honda riding mower, fly wheel, honda engines

Question
ive been looking for a downloadable service manuel [free if possible].
while mowing on flat ground ,no problems . pulling a hill it stops and makes a chattering noise from the drive shaft area. took what i had to apart to view the area where shaft meets the fly wheel. not sure on the name of part , but it is a triangle bell looking sorta thing that has a hole worn in the side. not sure if that is my problem or not.the engine seems to be in very god running shape just the drive train is my problem besides the deck rusting and full of patches.
any ideas
