Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): tillers, craftsman mini tiller, tiller cultivator

I'm trying to prepare a vegetable garden. i never used a tiller or cultivator. looking for a tool to prepare the ground,i know I'll need a tiller and/or a cultivator. is earthquake tiller model mc43e  better than the craftsman mini cultivator?
