QuestionI have a craftsman log splitter with a Briggs and Stratton Engine. When I put the gas into the tank it runs right out onto the ground. I can't seem to locate where it is coming out from. Any suggestions?
Thanks
AnswerHI
IS THE FUEL COMMING OUT OF TANK ONLY OR THE FUEL LINES FROM THE TANK TO CARB OR OUT THE CARB
IT SOUNDS LIKE THE TANK MAY BE SPLIT - IS THE FUEL LEAK A SLOW LEAK OR QUITE FAST
COULD POSSIBLY BE ON A SEAM OR SOMETHING HAS PUNCTURED IT
COULD TRY REMOVING TANK AND USING WATER WITH A LIITLE FOOD COLORING IN IT
MIGHT MAKE IT EASER TO LOCATE HOLE ?
IF DO THIS BE SURE TO RINSE TANK AND BLOW WITH COMPRESSED AIR AND LET DRY
IF A SPLIT COULD PROBERLY GET A PLASTIC WELDER TO WELD BACK UP

HOPE IT HELPS
