QuestionI have a Briggs %26 Stratton home standby generator that runs on natural gas. I have had problems with it not wanting to start up in the extreme cold, under 20 degrees. When I try to start it, it cranks so it is not a dead battery. I think it is cold oil keeping it from starting up. I am trying to find a dipstick heater that I can put in it. The heater can be no longer than 12 inches. Do you have any suggestions?
AnswerNeed to check if this oil heater will fit your engine.
