QuestionJust had new carb kit, tank vent, seals on crank shaft, fuel filter. Runs erratic and low fuel economy. Put a vented gas cap on, worked fine for a while. I then replaced carb seemed to run rich for a few days, then replaced fuel filter-run fine for a day. Started dieing, acting like it was running out of fuel. Now still runs like it's not getting fuel. I did also clean exhaust port of carbon.
AnswerWhat is the engine compression? Did you check the carburetor metering arm lever height when you rebuilt the carb?
Have you went to the carburetor manufacture website and downloaded the carb service manual? Walbro and Zama sites both offer carb service manuals to download.
