Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): small engine problem, gas leaf blowers, correct blend

Hi!  I am having a problem with two gas leaf blowers both with the same condition. One is a Homelite Mighty 26bv model #ut08550,  the other is a Poulan Pro model #BVM200 711487.  They both will not run if I open the chock more then half.  I did try new fuel and I did mix the oil to the correct blend.  I would appreciate any help you can seen me. Thank-you!!!

Have you tried adjusting the carburetor?  How old are the blowers?  Is the muffler spark arrestor screen plugged with carbon deposits?
