Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): small engine problem, gas leaf blowers, rubber diaphragms

Hi!  I am having a problem with two gas leaf blowers both with the same condition. One is a Homelite Mighty 26bv model #ut08550,  the other is a Poulan Pro model #BVM200 711487.  They both will not run if I open the chock more then half.  I did try new fuel and I did mix the oil to the correct blend.  I would appreciate any help you can seen me. Thank-you!!!

It sounds like you have a fuel obstruction and or starvation problem.  I would start by cleaning the carb and replacing the rubber diaphragms.  

I would also look at the cost of replacing the carb versus repairing.  Some of these carbs are very reasonably priced.
