Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): echo trimmer no start / fuel, zama carburetor, eye dropper
Questions8gtpsir:--i have a ECHO-- SRM 2100 TRIMMER with a no fuel/start condition. I have replaced the filter in the tank, and the grommet and 3 fuel lines (kit)that seals the fuel line's to the tank(leaking) I also replaced the primer bulb. Everything worked ok for a while. Now i can not get the primer bulb to suck any fuel to the carb. If i take the air cleaner off and prime the carb with a eye dropper it will start . What is the most likely problem or problems?I have not done any other disassembly other than what was necessary to accomplish the above repairs . I have checked all fasteners for tightness and possible air leaks. I thank you in advance for you diagnosis. -----Greg M.

Did you rebuild the carb when you replaced the fuel lines? Odds are if the fuel lines were bad the carb diaphrams are bad as well.
Take a look at the service manual and let know if the manuals help.
