Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn chief rider, metal working tools, hanger brackets

Question

lawn chief rider I bought a lawn chief tractor without a deck. I beleive it is a 440. It says its a 39" cut.  Do you know if there is any other deck besides a lawn chief that will fit on there.  I have access to a 36" and a 38" craftsman deck that looks close but I'm not sure if it will go.  Thanks for your time.

Biggest problem...mounting the different deck.  Second problem...finding a correct length belt.

Do you have a welder, metal working tools, a lot of time and sufficient funds to create the frankin-Chief?  Belts can be expensive.

You can use the picture to make hanger brackets.

You could either weld or bolt hangers to the Craftman deck and mount to the LC.
