Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Weedeater FL1500 LE Leaf Blower, recoil action, weedeater

Question
The pull rope broke and spun into the unit. I dis-assembled the lower section and removed the plastic rope holder, threaded the rope through the hole again but do not understand how to reset the recoil action. Any info?

You have to remove the entire housing and rewind the spring before putting the rope on.  Once you rewind the spring, put the rope in and tie it off.  When you release the spring it will wind the rope on and you'll be set.  Let me know if you have any problems.  Thanks, PK.
