QUESTION: i have a murry tractor model 425000x8a with a mst 206-502c transaxle
in it can i used a mst 206-502c transaxle in it................

ANSWER: Since they both are the same exact model number a 206-502c I dont see why not.

Are the shafts the same length on both trannies?  If so there should not be a problem.  If I remember correctly the A and C were just supersession numbers.  I dont see you have any problems, just make sure the mounting holes are all the same, etc...
