QuestionWe have checked all the safety switches and replaced the igniter and got a new battery. It is not getting fire. Help!
AnswerTo rule out anything on the tractor side, unplug the wire coming from the tractor at the igniter, then you will know if it is in the tractor side or the engine side.
If somehow voltage is supplied to it though, the new igniter may have been destroyed, so you may check it with a volt meter, as that system is supposed to be "grounded" only to shut the engine off.
