Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kohler Starter Solenoid, craftsman lawn tractor, starter solenoid

QUESTION: Hi, I have a Craftsman lawn tractor with a Kohler Pro V-Twin 23 HP motor (CV6758).  The bottom of the solenoid is broken off were the battery cable connects.  It looks like there was a bolt there to connect it in and I can see where it was soldered but the bolt is completely gone.   I have been looking for a replacement part, but all I am finding is the starter assembly (25-098-09 or 25-098-11-S).  Is it possible to just replace the solenoid or to have it rebuilt or do I have to replace the whole starter?

ANSWER: Send me the mower model number located on a sticker on the rear fender or under the mower seat.  The model number format will be xxx.xxxxxx or something similar.

I need the model number to look up the parts and wiring diagram.
