Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Clutch Removal on Homelite Chainsaw, homelite chainsaw, chain oiler

John, My Homelite chainsaw (UT 10830) chain oiler is not working and it leaks oil even when the saw is not running.  I need to remove the engine to clean the unit and work on the oil pump but need assistance with
the centrifugal clutch removal.  I assume there is a tool for this but my local Homelite service center would not tell me how to do it or where to get the tool.  I have the engine schematic already, just need some assistance with getting the clutch removed.

clutch I am sure Homelite makes a tool for it, and those guys likely don't have it.  To remove a clutch like yours, I use a large pin punch and find a solid point on the clutch and hit is sharply with a hammer,
and with a few blows it will spin off, I do the same back on.
Leave the plug in for some resistance, and it goes clockwise to
come off.
