QuestionI have changed the spark plug and put a new coil on this motor, but still no spark..is there anything else i am missing. I disconnected the wire that goes to it, no spark, please help me, i am desperate, need to get this mower going. it is a scag 48 inch. thanks
AnswerLooked online at Kawpower.com, and it shows a condenser, and looked in my mechanic manual, and it showed a control module, so I am not sure what to recommend. Call Kawasaki at 1-616-949-6500, and ask for the tech dept.
The real killer of ignitions is that somehow voltage is applied to them, by frayed wiring, a wrong keyswitch or other part.
So if you just replaced an electrical part, or any other issue, you might want to look at that again, closer.
A new electronic ignition part can be destroyed quick by voltage
being applied to it.
