I have a Tecumseh 70101 it was a pull start.  Just changed to electric start.  It cranks but there is no spark at the plug.

Hi Tom, if the engine is cranking at least 300 rpms and no fire then check first the ignition kill wire and then the ignition coil.  You can find the correct lawn mower coil and other lawn mower parts at http://www.discountonlineparts.com/lawnmower/
