I can not get my motor off to change the rings in it.The bottom pulley is holding it i do not know how to get it off

Hi Scott, you have to get the pulley off first.  Remove the crank pulley bolt and try a little heat on pulley shaft.  If this doesn't work then a pulley puller will probably be needed. However you probably will damage the pulley beyond repair.  If you need to replace your lawn mower crank pulley you can find the correct lawn mower part at:
