I have a tiller  with a  bad engine its a  1973 horse troy built the   engin is a 8 hp brigs  the model number is 190412 the type is 3077 01  code 88041110 I thank you for your time in  this  mater John

Unfortunately there is no replacement engine that will fit this tiller.
Each motor made has a single purpose for each application,#1 spline shaft,#2Govener speed ,RPM'S. According to Briggs there is No Replacement.They suggest Repair With Individual Parts.
