QuestionJohn - my company has been using the Tecumseh 100-218 in the clutch assembly of the cable reels we build for the oil & gas industry. These parts have been discontinued and are no longer available. My question: do you know of another part that closely matches the 100-218? Thanks for any help and advice. John
Answer You should contact Dana Off Highway Products in Fredrictown,
Ohio. They absorbed the Foote Foundry's transaxle/differential
division, which was Tecumseh/Peerless's biggest competition
in the lawn mower world.
Their phone number is 740-694-2055,
a phone call would be more useful than trying to navigate the dana website.
I do not know exactly what they make anymore, I haven't seen their booth at the Expo lately.
