Hi can you advise where I can get parts/service sheets/cd for this type and range of mower . I understand these may be manufactured in china and looks like a Briggs and stratton but cannot see any confirmation that it is

I did a Google chase around on the brand and name, etc.

I assume you are in U.K.?  We have  nothing here I have seen yet.

They were likely at the Lawn/Garden EXPO last Oct., but I did not visit their booth.  The brands Alpina and Alba kept popping up, and a few of their mowers claimed to have Briggs engines on them.

If they are Briggs engines, there should be a set of model, type, and
code numbers on them, many times on the valve cover, or nearby.
