Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Mclane edger motor, briggs and stratton, hp motor
Question
Trimmer and Carb
I have this older mclane edger that has a briggs and stratton motor on it. I do not have the original metal shroud on the engine so i dont have the exact serial numbers for the motor. I thought the motor was a 1.5 hp motor from what I can remember but when I search for parts I only see 2-5 hp motors. I need to find some parts like seals and such so I have a attached a photo I found on this site of my same model edger as well as a picture of my carb on the unit to find out what kind of carb it is.
Answer
Here is a copy of the parts manual I believe you have a Model 60100, if its not a 60100 the only other option is an 80100 or 801200
