Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda ex1000 generator, honda ex1000, arinet

Question
just bought one at auction and brought home put some gas in it and it ran. shut it off to further clean the gas tank and wont restart! I dont think I have spark? any easy answer?

>>Disconnect the Wires from the Sensor and Check the Plug for Fire.
>If No Fire, then
>>Disconnect the Shut Off Wires from the On/Off Switch and Make Sure they Do Not Touch Metal and Check for Fire at the Plug.
>>If No Fire at the Plug, then
>>Remove the Blower Housing (metal engine cover) and Remove the Wire from the Ign Module/Coil/Armature. Check the Plug for Fire.
>>If Still No Fire, then Replace the Ign Module/Coil/Armature.
