Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Husqvarana 125 BT Leaf Blower, husqvarana, ebay

I borrowed a friends Husqvarana 125 BT leaf blower and used it for appx. 5 minutes and shut it off.  When I tried to start it a bit later the cord would not pull.  I checked the fuel and it did not have oil mixed with it.  I believe the motor is seized.  Is that the case?  If so how difficult would it be for me to rebuild it?

I was a Husky dealer for about 7 years. It wouldn't be hard to rebuild. You'd have to go to a Husqvarna dealer and order a piston and cylinder kit (maybe Ebay?). Be sure to get all new gaskets, especially those concerning the intake side of the engine. It would be just a matter of disassembling and reassembling. The hardest part is keeping everything CLEAN during reassembly. Be especially careful with the screws that hold the carb on, they just thread into plastic and are very easy to strip out.
