Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snow Blower, craftsman snow thrower, diameter pin
QuestionI am trying to remove the gear assembly on a Craftsman Snow
Thrower. I can not seem to remove to spiral pins. Is there
a trick to remove them?
AnswerHello Drew:
Use Plenty of Penetrating Oil and Allow it to Penitrate. Tapping Around the Shaft where the Pin is Located while Spraying the Penetrating Oil will Assist the Oil in Doing its Job Better. You May also Require some Heat. Use the Proper Diameter Pin Punch. To View a Breakdown of this Unit Go to this Site Addy, http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action?sid=PSHx20080114x00001 and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Search.
