I have seen crank shaft straighteners for sale.
Is it ok to straighten a bnt shaft?

Depending on How Bad the Crankshaft is Bent; Yes. Remember that Metal Fatigue Occurs when Metal is Bent and Straightened and the Strength of the Metal is Weakened.
