I ran a leak down check and had only 5% and assume this is good.  What chould my compression be.  My check shows 40 psi.  Is this good??

The reason leak down test is used on a four cycle engine and compression test is done the two cycle engine is the intake and exhaust valves as the valves open and close on a four cycle engine you lose whatever compression there is in the combustion chamber.  5% leak down is great.  I would only be guessing at the compression numbers.  I hope this helps
