Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kawasaki FC290V, engine reference, alan king

Tom - I have a ride on mower powered by the above engine. The Carb needs to be replaced but Kawasaki say it is obsolete. Do you have any idea of where I might get one? The engine reference number is FC290V/AS 50.

This is the original part number  Kawasaki     15001-2655
It has been superseded to         Kawasaki     15001-2764
It can be purchased at this site for $119.33
