Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Bolens Snowthrower specs, bolens lawn tractor, hp engine

I was given a bolens snowthrower and I would like to retro fit it to a Steiner tractor.  I have two questions that need to be answered.  1 - What speed is the spline suppose to run at?  2- what machine was this implement originally designed for?
I can not seem to find any information online.  The snowthrower is a bolens, mod#17451, ser#0100159.

Most of these Snow Throwers are Rated by the Power Plant RPMs and Not the Auger RPMs. I Spoke with MTD and was Informed this is an Older Model Snow Thrower was Designed to Fit Most of the Older Bolens Lawn Tractor Series that had a 16 HP Engine or Larger. They had No Other Information that they could Give. Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps.
