Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda 2 cylinder cooled engine on 3813 mower, arinet, flywheel assembly

I need to put a timing belt on this engine.  Do I need to take the flywheel assembly off prior to taking off the belt or can I get to it some other way without this level of disassembly.  thank you

I Never take Shortcuts. I Suggest you Remove the Flywheel. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower/Engine at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram... and Select the Catalog American Honda. Select Search in the Functions Drop Down Menu. Now Enter you Model Numbers in the Model Search Section at the Lower Left of the Page and Click Go.
