Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): HRR216K3VXA Honda Roto-stop assembly, clutch cable, arinet
QuestionHi John: I read with interest the help you provided another HRR owner. My own problem is very close. The Roto-stop assembly engages the blade no problem. However, the slightest play in the thin bar that connects into the assembly causes the blade to disengage. I took the assembly apart and it "seems" fine but just can't keep the blade engaged. Is it time for a new assembly?
AnswerHello Alan:
If you have the Clutch Cable Adjsuted Correctly, then Yes it is Time to Rebuild or Replace the Roto-Stop Unit. Try Adjusting the Cable so the Tension is Slightly More and see if that Corrects the Problem. If it Does Not, then Repair or Replace the Roto-Stop Unit. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower/Engine at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram... and Select the Catalog American Honda. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.
Good Luck
