Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): B & S Lawnmower 6 HP, engine model type, float bowl

My lawnmower starts and dies rigth away.  Do all lawnmowers have this bowl nut?  I did take the carb apart and clean everything with air and spray.  I'm wondering if this nut has a hole in it and it is clogged and this is what is causing it to die right away.

Most 4 hp and largers have a float style carb.  Did your carb have a nut on the bottom of a round bowl?  If so, then yes, there should be a small hole in the side of the float bowl nut.
