Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): electric pto keeps disengaging, defective machine, red horse

i just bought the troybilt automatic garden tracter - big red horse and there is only 6 mowing hours on it and now the electric pto keeps disengaging can you help please i paid too much money for this to not work now Thanks

I just looked at http://www.complaints.com and I noticed there is another complaint about the Troybilt product line, similar to yours. In the other consumer's situation they replaced the defective machine.

It sounds as if a machine having just 6 hours of mowing service since purchase, shouldn't be giving you such problems.  I would definitely take it back to where I bought it and ask if they can replace it.

I am not sure what PTO stands for by the way.
