Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn mower service in Houston?, honda engine, reputable service
QuestionI have a lawn mower with a Honda engine in the family 3HNXS 1871AK. The Engine is a GCV160A-BHH Model (I got this from a previous question you answered). The engine starts fine and stalls after a few minutes. Based on reading your responses to similar problems I believe the carb needs to be soaked overnight and blown out. I am not comfortable doing this myself. Do you know of a reputable service company in the Houston area?
Can this problem be avoided in the future by using mid-grade or premium gas?
Thanks in advance,
Carl
AnswerHello Carl:
Most of the Small Engine Service Centers Listed in your Area are Reputable. I have Not Seen or Heard of Many Small Engine Shops that Stay in Business that are Not. Select a Service Center that has Been in Business for a Few Years if this will Ease your Mind. I Hope this Helps. Thanks for Using All Experts and May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Till Next Time, May All Your Mechanical Problems be Small Ones. Thanks Again.
Good Luck and Best Wishes
Respectfully
John
