Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawnmower noisy, crankcase oil, noise sound

i have a craftsman 6.5 mower, it is 7 years old, it starts and cuts good but just started it today and now it  is noisy, dont know the model number thank you

A Model Number would Help me Assist you Better. Go to this Site Addy, http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action and Use the "Find your Model Number" Feature at the Right of the Page. Is the Crankcase Oil at the Proper Level? Is the Blade Tight? What Does the Noise Sound like? Is it a Hammer Hitting, a Clanking, or a Grinding Noise? Thanks.
