Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawnmower engine, spec numbers, sparkplug

hi, i have a prism 4 tecumseh lawnmower engine and it seems to backfire and smoke alot. i changed the sparkplug and changed the oil and it ran but really rough.so do you have any tips on getting to run better of is it even worth fixing.

Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine or the Mower Model Numbers, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Engine Model Numbers May be Stamped Into the Blower Housing (metal engine cover) Above the Spark Plug. Thanks.
