Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): belt slips off, transmission belt, cub cadet

QUESTION: cub cadet self propel walk behind. i replaced blade took belt off. after that i put it together and tried to start it. the problem i have is the belt keeps slipping off the tranny pulley

Thanks for the Numbers. They Did Assist me in Locating the Proper Mower and Manuals. This is Supposed to be a CC550SP, 12A-18MC Mower. You can View a Breakdown of this Mower at this Site Addy; http://www.emerichsales.com/ and Select Parts at the Top of the Page. Now Now Fill out the Form with the Following Information; 1- Brand = Cub Cadet. 2- Now Select Home Maintenance. 3- Now Select 2007. Now Select the CC550SP 12A-18MC File. Did you Replace the Belt Guard/Guide? Is the Small Belt Guard on the Transmission Set at 1/4 Inch Away from the Belt and Pulley? Is the Transmission Belt Guard/Guide Broken Off or Bent?
