Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): cam replacement, head gasket replacement, cam dot

Hi
I have a john deere with a n fd620 kawasaki liquid v twin. How and where should the timimg marks be. Lined up cam dot and crank dot but pops back.

I Use the Shop Manuals to Answer these Types of Questions. It Seems the Shop Manual for this Engine was Left in the Shop (they are Doing a Head gasket Replacement and I cannot Get to it Until Tuesday. I Appolgize for Any Inconvenience.
