Hello! An answer to your question:
The carb on this tractor has been thorouly cleaned by technician at shop. I
reinstalled it this morning, it ran perfectly about 2 or 3 minutes then it begam
to load up fuel in the bowl below the aircleaner which sit directly on top of
carb. Obviously it stopped running as it flooded out. I noticed the fuel would
not shut off - it continued to gurgle into the carb untiul it was about 1 inch
deep before I removed the fuel line from the tank to stop the flow.
I then removed the carb and turned it upside down to drain all fuel. I removed
the metal bowl and checked the float to see if it may have a hole in it - it
didn't.
Why would this happen?
I would appreciate a reply greatly ASAP if possible.
Thank you.

AnswerHello Ken:
Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. The Float Stuck. This is Common when a Shop Cleans and Rebuilds a Carburetor and the Carburetor is Transported, Bumped, Knocked Around and Turned in Many Positions Before being Installed Back Onto the Engine. A Simple Tap on the Side of the Carburetor Bowl would have Started the Float Operating Again. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.
Good Luck
