Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): how do i get higher p.s.i.?, toro wheelhorse, spec numbers
Questionhey i have a toro wheelhorse and i'm wondering how i can get higher p.s.i. to get higher r.p.m. because i want to convert it to a racing mower can you help me?
AnswerHello Cameron:
Depending on the Engine Model; you can Either Purchase a Stronger Governor Control Spring or on Some Models the Governor Control Spring can be Tightened by Slightly Bending the Tab that the Control Spring Hooks to on the Throttle Control Bracket. If you Require More Assistance with this, then Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Model Numbers May be Stamped Into the Blower Housing (metal engine cover) Above the Spark Plug. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.
Good Luck
