Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Ariens snowblower pull start, recoil spring, assembly drawings

I have an older model Ariens with 5 hp Tecumseh, model # 91007.  The pull start no longer retracts the pull cord. Does that mean the recoil spring is shot?  I'm pretty limited mechanically but would like to know what to ask when I take it for repair. Thank you.

Sorry for the Delay. I had to Purchase a New PC and then Switch my Files and Records from the Old One. Usually the Problem you Described is Caused by the Recoil Spring Being Broken. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/default.cfm and Select Start Parts Viewer. Now Enter the Model Numbers. Now Select View Assembly Drawings. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please.
