Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snowblowers, mtd snowblower, engine numbers

Question
I got a mtd snowblower from my neighbor over the summer and I got it to start up once with a little messing around with it and it started, so I shut it off and tried it again. It ran fine. Then I let it sit for a half hour or so, and it hasn't started since. I took it apart thoroughly and back together and still didn't run. so I changed the sparkplug and put new gas in it but it still doesn't run. What do you suppose is the problem? wbw3e

Can you send me the MTD model number; xxx-xxxxx...it's a long number located on a sticker.

Also, send me the engine numbers.  Depending on the engine brand, the numbers will either be stamped on the engine housing somewhere or on a stick on the engine housing.
