Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 1986 sears tractor snow blower attachment, snow thrower, snow throwers

QUESTION:  Dear John,
 I recently refurbished a 1986 Sears 917-255741 12 hp ohv lawn tractor. I would like to know if there is a snow blower/thrower attachment available for this model ? If not, is there an attachment that is most easily adapted ?

My Sears Contact will be Contacting me Tomorrow About the Snow Thrower Attachment and I will Inquire about the Blade Attachment then. Apparently they had to Locate and Pull the Older Microfiche for Attachments for this Mower, Due to the DOM. Thanks.

Hi Pete:

I Just Spoke with my Sears Rep and they Do Not Offer a Snow Thrower Attachment or Blade Attachment. He did Say that Some of the Snow Throwers and Bleades from the Other Models can be McGuivered to Fit. You will have to Look at the Attachments and See if One Looks Close Enough to Refit for your Unit. Hope this Helps. I am Here if you Require More Assistance. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours.
