Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Alcohol in gasoline, hp briggs, fuel stabilizer
QuestionMissouri is requiring all gasoline to have at least 10% alcohol. I have a new mower with the 2 cylinder 24 HP Briggs and several 2 cycle engines. I am concerned that this new law will shorten the life of these engines. What can I do to help offset this situation?
Thank you for your assistance.

Most of the new equipment now has the emissions set for the alcohol tainted fuel. The problem with that fuel is that the engines runs a little rough and you will have to either dump the fuel after the season or try some fuel stabilizer, because alcohol will evaporate leaving gummy fuel
