Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 5hp tecumseh, spark plug gap, minimum compression

What is the compression supposed to be on a 5hp tecumseh and what is the proper spark plug gap.

Hello Jay:

The Minimum Compression for Any Small Engine is 70 PSI. Usually Compression Below 80 PSI will Cause Idling and Power Problems, but the Engine will Run. Depending on the Model; you Can Not Check the Compression on Some Models Due to the Compression Release. Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Plug is Gapped to .030in. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance.
