Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn Tractor Wont Move, pulley system, proper manuals
QuestionA friend has a Troy Built 46" lawn tractor. I haven't looked at it closely so I don't know the model number. He says that when he puts it in either forward or reverse the tractor will not go but seems to be in the neutral position.Possible cause?
AnswerHello Mike:
Without More Information, I can be of Only Limited Assistance. The Most Common Cause it the Belt being Broke or Off the Pulley System. Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower (usually located under the Seat), Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. On the Transaxle is an OEM Identification Plate. Send me the Information Off of This Plate, Please. With this Information, I can Locate the Proper Manuals and Better Assist You. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Have a Happy Holiday Season and May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.
Good Luck
