Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): oil change, oil drain plug, briggs stratton

Question
I think the oil drain plug on my 18 horse mower is on the lower side of the engine.  How am I supposed to drain it when it is on the side of the engine?

Yes that is where they are located,and when you drain the oil you need to put a oil pan under the mower to catch any spilt oil. It will still be a mess as it gets all over.
